Possessing Intelligence and Having the Mentality of a Rich Person can Lead to an Unfruitful Society if not Take Up On Correctly

The reason why I have decided to develop this theory is because there are certain types of people that are highly intelligent and have the mentality of a rich person, but they are not rich, with regards to money. One can point out that it is because of the fact that an intelligent person has studied for a long period of time and have achieved excellent knowledge skills that makes him/her debate anybody in the world. It is important to point out that being intelligent does not mean writing in difficult vocabulary words. If not ask Albert Einstein who said, “If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough.” At the University of Virginia, I was taught to write in detail or specifically about something because it makes the material more understanding than to write a sentence which means various sentences of a paragraph. Do not get me wrong, at a university we are also taught to write briefly or in short as well. However, the point that I want to make or the theory that I’m trying to unfold is that if one is intelligent and rich, but not necessarily wealthy, then it can have its drawbacks from having a successful life and can severely have a negative impact on society or a country.

Some people are wealthy and are intelligent at the same time, which is the perfect scenario for anyone, but the focus here is middle class men and women, who are intelligent and are not rich, that can harm their lives because one with such potential or knowledge in the mind can make the irrational mistake of stating that everything can be accomplished because one is simply intelligent or possesses a certain level of knowledge. Therefore, it leads to the irrational thought that we do not need money in society because knowledge is more important than money. Middle class men and women tend to think in these ways because they conform themselves with being rich in knowledge and not materially. However, one needs to understand that society needs the constant flow of money or capital in order to function. Society or a country needs the flow of money to trade with or to negotiate with one another. With the same token, it is vital to persuade middle class men and women who think this way because knowledge can get you to places, but money can buy you places. I’m not necessarily putting money over everything, I am simply trying to state that money is necessary to live in a country or society.

Moreover, being intelligent or extensively knowledgeable can lead you to forget about others and sometimes your actions can harm others because of the way you behave. An example can be an intelligent human being acting arrogantly because he possesses a lot of knowledge. It is a mistake that not only middle class men and women make but also the lower class. The reason why I exclude the rich is because they have the money on their side, which means they don’t have to preoccupy about obtaining personal belongings such as a house, an apartment, furniture etc… Most importantly, most of the rich behave richly mannered. Behaving badly mannered can be harmful to one’s life in many ways due to fact that you are Mr. Know It All. It can also exclude you from a group of friends by exhibiting such behavior. Last but not least, it can get to the point of harming your own family because you think you are superior than them because one gets to believe that one is more intelligent and possesses more knowledge than them.

Additionally, being extremely intelligent and knowledgeable can lead you to do things that are not correct. It can lead human beings to make irrational mistakes or to to think irrationally about things from their perspective. With that said, based on the sentences before we get the terms know it all, geek, nerd, and you name it. It becomes harmful to a society because human beings attack themselves one another with knowledge. Well, you are probably thinking it is hard to have a Utopian Society. Indeed it is, but we must strive for perfection in order to achieve certain goals and to stop making irrational mistakes or thinking irrationally. An example can be obtaining a credit card from a bank and getting cash rewards on that account. An intelligent human being will spend as much money as possible to get cash back from the credit card, but one doesn’t know that one is behaving irrationally because swiping your credit card is leading you to a debt. However, the fact that you want to obtain cash rewards leads to swipe your credit card and lastly end up in debt. As a matter of fact, millions of Americans are intelligent, but are currently in debt because of some of the reasons stated above, others are in debt because they have to obtain a credit card to pay for an expensive material which is comprehending.

Pursuing this further, being highly intelligent and knowledgeable can have a serious drawback on your life because it can lead you to achieve less than what you are supposed to achieve in life. One can sit at home, relax and say, “I’m rich in knowledge, I don’t need to do this because it does not make sense,” knowing that doing that task that does not make sense can lead to serious gains such as, an economic gain. However, the fact that one thinks that being knowledgeable is what’s most important, such economic gain becomes a loss when it should have had been additional capital to your budget. Another mistake is the fact that being “unconsciously intelligent” can lead to live a lonely life because there is no other partner that is suitable for one because person B does not possess the same knowledge skills as one possesses. It is highly detrimental to think in this manner because it can have serious repercussions in your life.

Being intelligent and having the mentality of a rich person is one of the reasons why we have socio-economic classes. First of all, the lower class are conform with the money they make even if they are intelligent enough to make more money to move on to the next position in life, the middle class. Second of all, the middle class think that they are intelligent and knowledgeable enough that they can rule the world and have a good life in society. Third of all, the rich is the one that benefits from both classes, the lower and middle class, because the upper class do not stop or are not conform with the wealth that they have. In other words, they want more and more. An important point, it is highly detrimental that lower and middle classes judge the upper class because they possess a lot of wealth. How so? The upper class as stated before do not stop at a certain point in life but continue to add more wealth to their wealth because these individuals see that having wealth or being wealthy helps them have a good status in society. They are hard-working individuals. Not only a good socioeconomic status, they also become well known individuals to the world and some even become role models to little kids. In retrospect, the lower and middle class suffer from being “unconsciously intelligent” because it makes them become conformists in our society. They get to a point where they think that they have worked hard enough and stop working as productively as they were before because they have found a suitable place in society and it is what creates socio-economic classes in our society.

Furthermore, since some of us get to the point where we think knowledge is more important than tangible objects we now know that it creates a division of classes in society, but it also leads to a country that becomes badly informed about the events that happen domestically and internationally. The public becomes highly misinformed about politics, current events, international events etc… And this leads to a society or a country that becomes highly unequal because some citizens are informed and some citizens are not informed and they cannot converse with one another because the citizen that is misinformed about events cannot converse with the citizens that are informed. A  book in public opinion states, however, that the informed citizens must inform the uninformed citizens about societal events, but the truth is that it gets harder to persuade uninformed individuals because they believe themselves that the information that they possess is correct and believe that the informed is trying to persuade them to get them into an undesirable business. The point to make here is that it becomes harder for society to become highly educated because of the fact that some human beings are conformist and believe that having a certain level of knowledge is enough to survive in life, but as we now know that is not the case. The case is that we must continue to become more intelligent and more knowledgeable and forget about the conformist approach. The purpose is to continue to move forward and to make it to the upper class exactly like that one carpenter became an entrepreneur and now has various furniture shops within a country or around the world.

With that said, I’m not saying that being intelligent and knowledgeable is a bad thing for society, but we must not forget that money, socio-economic classes, businesses, good behavior, and a healthy family needs someone who can handle such knowledge and not deposit himself into the conformist approach. In other words, one must continue to obtain more intelligence and more knowledge to continue moving in a positive correlation or in a upward relationship. If one does not see or approaches life in this way there will still be a division of classes and blaming the president of a country is not an excuse because it is one’s fault that the conditions in such country are the way they are. The president can make changes in society such as, creating more job opportunities, and only for the good of a society or country. In my opinion, the full responsibility becomes on the masses and not the government. With all of that said or finally, having intelligence and possessing the mentality of a rich person is not easy and it can not be dominated by any human being.
